6 Cuban migrants land in Golden Beach – WSVN 7News | Miami News, Weather, Sports

GOLDEN BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) – A group of Cuban migrants have reportedly landed in Golden Beach.

The United States Border Patrol responded to reports of six migrants having landed ashore in the Ocean Boulevard area near Palermo Avenue around 9 a.m. Sunday.

According to the people, they spent over a week at sea and swam ashore after their ship capsized.

Law enforcement provided assistance to the immigrants until they were taken into federal custody for processing.

No injuries were reported.
