5 potential transit points for USC QB Jaxson Dart

USC full-back Jaxson Dart enters the transfer window that will make him one of the most sought-after full-backs in the country.

The college football transfer portal was busy in Los Angeles on Monday.

As rumors of former Oklahoma quarterback Caleb Williams going to USC spread, current Trojan quarterback Jaxson Dart dashed through the gate himself.

Dart is currently one of the most highly rated quarterbacks in the gate, so there will be plenty of suitors knocking on the door.

UCLA

When Dart made the decision to commit to leaving high school, he had UCLA among his options along with USC.

If he likes it in Los Angeles, there is an option to pursue, although the choice is complicated by Dorian Thompson-Robinson choosing to return for the 2022 season.

Utah

Dart is from Draper, Utah. He played high school football about a half-hour drive from Utah’s Rice-Eccles Stadium.

He must be ready to wait his turn after Cameron Rising, who will be a red shirt student in 2022.

West Virginia

Dart chose to go to USC to play because of Graham Harrell’s offense. Harrell had just taken a job as an offensive coordinator in West Virginia, so there’s an obvious connection there.

Midfielder Seth Doege is planning a move, so there’s a loophole in winger Dart that could instantly fill an offense he already knows about.

Ole Miss

Lane Kiffin also needs a new full-back at Ole Miss. Dart definitely gives off Matt Corral vibes with its big arms and mobility. He also has a similar competitive spirit.

If Dart wants to join a rising program with a coach who has a proven track record in quarterback development, he couldn’t do better than the Rebels.

Oklahoma

Why not a swap?

Caleb Williams perhaps going to USC seems to be what got Dart in the gate. The position he vacated in Oklahoma is currently being used.

Newer Offensive Coordinator Jeff Lebby did a good job at Ole Miss under the direction of Lane Kiffin. The biggest complication is the appearance of Dillon Gabriel in the transfer portal.
