There will be dozens of All-Stars representing all 30 MLB teams playing at Dodger Stadium on Tuesday. Here are 5 bold predictions for it.

On Tuesday, the American League and National League will go head-to-head in a bragging rights battle at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles at the MLB All-Star Game.

More than 30 for the first time All stars have been selected for the fourth game in a row so it will be a night to remember for them, the other players and millions around the world watching or hearing the game.

For the MLB All Star Gamewe have five bold predictions for what’s about to happen.

Fans will wish Sandy Alcantara got the starting advantage over Clayton Kershaw

Miami Marlins starting pitcher Sandy Alcantara was the top starting pitcher in the National League and it’s not particularly close. In fact, he was the best player in the sport overall.

He leads the NL in ERA (1.76), the majors in starts (19), complete games (2), innings (138.1), ERA+ (233), and rWAR (5.3).

However, National League manager Dave Roberts is expected to leave with his own starter Clayton Kershaw. Kershaw had a great season (7-2 record, 2.13 ERA in 12 starts) but Alcantara was vastly superior and he wasn’t injured like Kershaw. So Kershaw wasn’t as dominant as Alcantara, and Alcantara has seven more starts and almost double the innings (138.1-71.2).

It wasn’t even supposed to be a debate, but it is. Unfortunately, the merit didn’t catch on.
