The San Francisco 49ers are practicing at a Green Bay High School. Unfortunately, things can get a little awkward for them and the packers.
The 49ers face enough of a tough climb next weekend, as they have to play Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field with expected temperatures in the numbers. Aaron Rodgers was used to such conditions. Meanwhile, the 49ers are just trying to get used to it.
The Niners are said to be interning at Bay Port High School. This is also where the kids of several Packers coaches seem to attend. While it is unknown if any dire consequences will occur, one would think that would make a difficult circumstance to all parties involved.
The view from the classroom can make everything look small worse.
Can 49ers relieve sadness in Green Bay?
The 49ers had Packers’ numbers in the post-season, plus they played a tight match against Rodgers and Co. at the beginning of this season. It’s impossible to predict what might happen on Saturday, but San Francisco isn’t going down without a fight.
Nick Bosa deleted the concussion protocol on Friday, that was a key ingredient for the 49ers to handle Rodgers. If Bosa can help keep Rodgers in his pocket and put pressure on the Packers quarterback, it will limit the amount of damage he can deal in that throw period.
“He’s good at getting through NFL protocol,” 49ers defensive coordinator DeMeco Ryans speak. “Definitely need him out there.”
Kyle Shanahan echoed those feelings on Friday.
“It looks nice,” said Shanahan.
Bosa, along with Jimmy Garoppolo, will play a big part in deciding whether the 49ers continue their status as Rodgers’ playoff nightmare, or if they will be defeated on Saturday.
“It’s playoff football,” Garoppolo said. “We know what time it is and don’t have time to rest right now.”
