On the morning of November 26, the new head coach Steve Sarkisian and Texas Soccer the show will take on head coach Chris Klieman and an improved Kansas State Wildcats team. That’s right, Kansas State looks like it won’t have double-threat quarterback as their super-double threat Skylar Thompson in this Black Friday regular season finale.
At the beginning of the Big 12, it looked like this Kansas State game was going to be a huge one for Sark and the Longhorns. Most recently last month, Sark and the Longhorns chatted about a potential rematch with the Oklahoma Sooners in the Big 12 Championship Game after a second-half defeat at the Red River Rivalry game.

But Texas went on to have a historic losing streak in the midst of one of the most disastrous seasons in show history in its first year under Sark. It really isn’t much worse than what the Longhorns have been through in the past six games.
The conversation now mostly turns to the changes that need to be made by the Longhorns heading into the next season to really tweak the ship under Sark. At this point, it’s clear this will be some kind of rebuilding that Sark is leading the Longhorns through in 2022 and beyond. But how long will it take to rebuild this thing?
That’s the question everyone is trying to answer.
With that in mind, here’s a look at four Longhorns players, both of whom are clearly bought and fit for Sark going through a disastrous 2021 season.
