384 Stolen Bee Box Recovered by Deputies in Yolo County – CBS Sacramento
BROOKS (CBS13) – Hundreds of boxes of bees allegedly stolen have now been recovered by delegates in Yolo County.
On February 2, deputies served a search warrant on a property along the 17000 block of the County’s 72nd Street, the Yolo County Sheriff’s Office said. The search warrant relates to an investigation into the theft of a bee box and a stolen forklift.
Not only did the delegates recover the stolen forklift specially equipped for beekeeping, they also recovered a total of 384 crates of bees that had been stolen from Mendocino County.
One suspect, Juan Vargas-Ceja, was arrested. He is facing a charge of possession of stolen property.
