35 concerts coming to Southern California in 2022 – San Bernardino Sun

Following nearly two years of postponements, cancellations and rescheduling due to COVID-19, big-name artists and music venues across Southern California are optimistically heading into the new year with loaded concert calendars.

From megastars like Chris Stapleton, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Billie Eilish to new arena and theater headliners like Ghost, Dua Lipa and Olivia Rodrigo, there are dozens of tours that will be stopping by our area in 2022.

Though there will most certainly be additional tours announced in the coming months, all of these concerts are currently on sale. Ticket prices vary; some events are already sold out although tickets can be found through secondary sellers. Check individual venue websites for updates on performers, as well as the latest COVID-19 health and safety protocol and requirements for attending.



The Los Angeles-based rock band dropped its first new album in 13 years, “Fear Inoculum,” in 2019 and won a Grammy award for best metal performance with the song “7empest.” 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18 at Honda Center, 2695 E. System of a Down

System of a Down’s two Los Angeles-area shows were postponed when vocalist Serj Tankian contracting a breakthough case of COVID-19. However, the band was able to reschedule the dates with Korn, Helmet and Russian Circles. 5:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4 and Saturday, Feb. 5. Justin Bieber 

Following two years of rescheduling, Bieber will bring The Justice World Tour (formerly The Changes Tour and The Justin Bieber World Tour) to Southern California in support of his 2020 album “Changes” and 2021’s “Justice.” Jaden, ¿Téo? and Eddie Benjamin will open the show. 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 18 at Pechanga Arena, 3500 Sports Arena Blvd., San Diego; 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23 at The Forum, 3900 W.
