343 Industries shares details on Halo Infinite Season 2 updates

With Halo Infinite Season 1 coming to a close in the next few months, developer 343 Industries has released an update on what players can expect in the future. In particular, some of the changes and updates coming in Season 2 have been shared and could revolutionize the experience for fans.

Halo Infinite Season 2 launches on May 3rd and will bring a ton of changes. No stone was left unturned, meaning most of the complaints players had with Season 1 should have been addressed in some way in this second season.

For example, the ability to hear an opponent’s shield recharge has been tweaked so it doesn’t reveal your position, and some campaign audio has also been changed to provide a more enjoyable experience.

The new multiplayer map Catalyst will be added to the list on the first day, King of the Hill and Attrition will be included in multiplay playlists, and in the latter you can move immediately after spawning. The new Big Team Battle map, Breaker, will also be added to playlists from day one.

As you can see in the first update notes, many changes have been made across the board to broaden the overall multiplayer experience and make it feel more fair. A 10% reduction in weapon damage in general will likely cause an uproar among some fans, but everything 343 Industries has shared seems to indicate that they have listened to the fans and are trying to make the ongoing Halo Infinite experience good .
