These three Atlanta Braves can still return to prom even after a lengthy lockdown.
While the lockdown continues, it may not be the worst thing in the world for Atlanta Braves during their World Series title defense.
Even after winning its first league championship in 26 years, Atlanta doesn’t have the deepest pockets of any baseball team. Not to say the Braves are assholes, but there are financial ramifications to being owned by a corporation instead of a human. Fortunately, the lockdown could slow things down enough to allow the three major contributors from last year to return.
This is Ba Mighty heroes return to Atlanta once the locking is active.

Jorge Soler
BELONG TO Atlanta Braves

Jorge Soler could return, regardless of whether or not the universal DH rule is implemented
When Braves general manager Alex Anthopoulos traded four midfielders ahead of schedule, it was unlikely all four would return to the club in 2022, especially when the team’s most talented player Ronald Acuña Jr returns. after a torn ACL. Joc Pederson is an odd man, but there has been some debate about what Jorge Soler can offer the team as an everyday midfielder.
All Soler did was play better than expected on the right pitch and hit one monster long shot after another in the post-season. His epic moonshots are why he was named the 2021 World MVP. His Game 6 blast on the Houston train tracks was one of the top three in the calendar. franchise history, along with David Justice’s solo hit in Game 6 in 1996 and Hank Aaron’s 715 in 1974.
So while it’s still up for debate if Soler will return to Atlanta, he offers great value, even in a National League with no DH. He showed in October he can hit multiple points in batting order. Soler could do a good job starting if Acuña moves to the center. If DH is passed on the Senior Circuit, it would make an even more compelling case for Liberty Media to re-sign Soler.
Atlanta has received a tremendous return on investment for Soler, but the Braves can therefore reinvest.
