Bowman initially committed to Clemson in December 2019 before officially enlisting in August 2020. He stayed with Clemson for less than two months before relocating to Florida in October this year to be closer to home. Having already used up his only free transfer, Bowman will have to sit out the entire 2022 college season before qualifying for his third notable team.

When Bowman first signed Clemson, former Tigers offensive coordinator Jeff Scott served as his primary recruiter. It should be noted that his second was Tony Elliott, who is now in charge of Virginia. While the Hoos are certainly a contender for Bowman, Tampa isn’t far from Lakeland. South Florida may not be Power Five, but there is an opportunity to play.

Orlando is close to home and former Auburn head coach Gus Malzhan is leading UCF

While UCF wasn’t among the teams that recruited Bowman heavily the first time around, things have certainly changed for the Orlando program. They are now managed by former Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn and are on the verge of becoming a Power Five. Orlando is very close to Lakeland but UCF has to play all its road games very far from Florida once the Knights join the Big 12 could be a problem.

Assuming Bowman has patience this time, the best place for him has to be in Miami. Former Hurricanes offensive lineman Mario Cristobal was called out by Eugene to do The U The U again. Cristobal will make Miami a national power again. With a former five-star chomp in 2023, this could be one heck of a pickup for the Canes if they land Bowman.

Other teams will be in play for Bowman, but the Floridian schools are probably the best bet right now.
