We’re in a weird place with this show because WWE has really come to realize that the show has little to do with the cruiser class and hasn’t happened in years. It really might be time to change things up a bit, and that’s long overdue. Given that the show has changed everything but the name, so maybe now is the time to complete the challenge. Let’s go there.

Amari Miller vs. Lash Legend

Legend pushed her down to start but Miller was unimpressed. A dropkick wobbles Legend but she blocks a draw without much effort. There was an overhead embarrassment into a nipup when Miller was in trouble early on. A falling blow placed a large boot in the chest but Miller dodged a corner lunge. Miller came back with a Codebreaker that springs into a cradle for two of her own, only for Legend to reject it. Something like a torture rack (on Legend’s back instead of his shoulder) was filmed as a bonsai that finishes off Miller at 3:30.

Result: The legend of the burden b. Amari Miller – Spinning faceplant (3:30)

Andre Chase vs. Guru Raj

They go technical to start, with Chase working on the arm. A monkey flips out of the corner to get Raaj out of trouble but Chase hastily pulls him down. Then there were stomps on the students’ part and we got a cross. Raaj fights off some kicks and backlash, setting up an out-of-the-corner bulldog for two. Step back and Chase hits a large running boot into a Downward Spiral arm trap to finish off Raaj at 4:59.

Result: André Chase b. Guru Raaj – The downward spiral (4:50)

We recap Joe Gacy fell to Roderick Strong at WarGames, but now he’s ready to rename 205 to combat the weight issues.

Malik Blade vs Solo Sikoa

Sikoa shoves him down to start leaving Blade back with a captain’s armband. It actually lasted quite a while, probably marking the longest offense Blade has ever had here. Step back and a giant clothesline explodes on Blade, causing Sikoa’s armband to change.

Several dropkicks didn’t work well for Blade because the Sikoa spinwheel kicked him right back into the captain’s armband. Another escape route suited Blade better, and he ran into a running line in the corner. Sikoa supercharges him from the air and a spinning fist at the beginning ends Blade off at 7:44.

Result: Solo Solo b. Malik Blade – Turns fist to head (7:44)
