2023 NBA Playoffs Bracket: Schedule, Times, TV Info: Knicks oust Cavaliers; Grizzlies force Game 6 vs Lakers

Three teams had a chance to advance to the next round of the 2023 NBA Playoffs Wednesday night. One did, one didn’t, and one is ready to speak up. The visiting Knicks eliminated the Cavaliers to win the series 4-1 and are now waiting to see if they take on the Heat or the Bucks. Miami leads that series 3-1 and plays later Thursday night. In the other potential elimination game, the host Grizzlies defeated the Lakers and are now trailing 3-2. Game 6 takes place in Los Angeles on Friday night. The final battle of the night will be a match 5 between the kings and the warriors. This series is tied at 2.

Three teams previously reached the second round. The 76ers completed a sweep of the nets on Saturday. The Nuggets and Suns, meanwhile, edged out the Timberwolves and Clippers respectively on Tuesday night. Denver and Phoenix meet in the second round starting Saturday.

The other remaining first-round series is Celtics-Hawks. Game 6 is scheduled for Thursday night after Boston missed a chance to close Atlanta on Tuesday night. The 76ers await the Celtics-Hawks winner with this second-round series set to begin Monday, May 1.
