2023 NBA Playoffs Bracket schedule: Celtics attempt to level with 76ers; Lakers rise 1-0; Knicks tie series

The second round of the 2023 NBA Playoffs is underway, and on Wednesday night the second-placed Celtics will scrap to avoid losing the first two games of their streak at home to a 76ers roster that may be without again Joel Embiid, Philadelphia’s newly appointed MVPwhile continuing his comeback from a knee injury.

Meanwhile, the streak many hoped the basketball gods would deliver — Stephen Curry’s Warriors vs. LeBron James’ Lakers — started Tuesday in San Francisco, and it did Anthony Davis, who led Los Angeles on both ends of the floor stealing home field advantage. Game 2 takes place on Thursday. earlier the Knicks smoothed out their streak with the heat, although it wasn’t nearly as easy to win considering New York had its two best players in Jalen Brunson and Julius Randle, while Miami were without All-Star Jimmy Bulter due to an ankle injury. Game 3 takes place in Miami on Saturday afternoon.
