2023 Masters odds, tips, predictions: Tiger Wood’s outlook from the golf model that nailed Scheffler’s win

Tiger Woods will make his second appearance of the year when the 2023 Masters tees off at Augusta National Golf Club on Thursday. The 82-time PGA Tour winner made his only appearance in 2023 at an event he hosts annually, the Genesis Invitational. Woods made the cut but finished in 45th place against an elite field. Defending champion Scottie Scheffler is the 15-2 Masters betting favorite, followed by Rory McIlroy (17-2) and Jon Rahm (8-1). Other top contenders in the 2023 Masters field include Cameron Smith (14-1), Jordan Spieth (14-1), Justin Thomas (15-1), Will Zalatoris (16-1), Collin Morikawa (16-1) and Max Homa (16-1). Top predictions for the Masters 2023

A big surprise awaiting the model at the Masters 2023: Jordan Spieth, the 2015 Masters champion, is struggling and doesn’t even manage to crack the top 12. Last year, Spieth missed his first Masters cut in nine appearances, including five top-3 finishes. The Texan hasn’t won on the Tour since last April’s Valero Texas Open and has had just three top-10 finishes in his last eight starts on the PGA Tour. He’s ranked 47th in the FedEx Cup leaderboard and is looking for more consistent play throughout the season.

At four Majors over the past year, Spieth’s highest finish was eighth at the Open Championship, and his other two finishes after the 2022 Masters were outside the top 30. With his putting on tour this season at No. 114, the greens of Augusta National could pose significant problems for him.
