PREDICTIONS FOR EMMYS 2022:
OUTSTANDING WRITING FOR A LIMITED SERIES OR TV MOVIE
AWARDS PREDICTION COMMENT:
Mike White’s accomplishments can be felt front to back in the HBO anthology series The White Lotus. With its snappy and complex mosaic of characters, it hits on almost every level.

Ryan Murphy’s power continues with Impeachment: American Crime Story and its multiple nominations despite declining viewership and reviews. That certainly helped Sarah Burgess come up with a shocking name.

Proof that Netflix drama MAID narrowly missed out on for outstanding limited series was seeing Molly Smith Metzler’s name among the writers in this incredibly competitive race. It’s also one of the few categories that stands a chance.
There are ardent admirers for “Station Eleven,” the HBO adaptation of the famous novel, as evidenced by its decent haul of nominations. Perhaps a disgruntled winner is waiting for Patrick Somerville in the wings?
