FORT LAUDERDALE, FL. (WSVN) – Two men face multiple charges after leading lawmakers on a chase through Broward County in a car stolen in Orlando, according to authorities.
Tyler Hunt and Jwan Rivers attempted to outrun a BSO helicopter Wednesday, beginning in Central Broward, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.
Deputy in the helicopter spotted the stolen black Dodge Charger speeding through the Florida Turnpike.
Eventually, a tire blew out on the vehicle, but the duo kept driving.
The suspects eventually stopped at US 441, just north of Griffin Road, east of Cooper City.
Hunt and Rivers got out of the car and surrendered when Davie police arrived.
