15-year-old boy wounded in Englewood shooting


CHICAGO — A 15-year-old boy was injured in a shooting in Englewood on Friday night, according to police.

Police said the boy was walking down the street in the 6800 block of South Halsted Street just after 6:10 p.m. when he heard gunshots and felt pain.

The boy was hit in the right forearm and taken to Holy Cross Hospital in good condition.
