10 Best Parkour Games on PC (2022)

For those who may not know, parkour is essentially the act of moving from one point to another while attempting to navigate a series of obstacles. Parkour is popular with stunt performers as well as military personnel to train their bodies for combat. While it might look fun to try, it could also result in an injury or two if you’re not careful. So how can you achieve your parkour fix without actually having to go through a series of obstacles?

Luckily, parkour lets you go virtually crazy through video games ranging from indie games to games like Minecraft. But let’s say you don’t want to go through the hassle of creating and building your own parkour course. Which parkour themed video games are the best? Let’s go through our selections, starting with a name that should be familiar to video game enthusiasts: Assassin’s Creed.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

Let’s start with Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, which can be fought for a fair price since the title is two years old. In Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, players can explore the forests, volcanoes and islands of ancient Greece on a quest that may change the fate of the land. Parkour fans can also get their fair share of action in this game, as players can blast through ancient boats and jump off some of the oldest structures in the world.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag

Much like Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag also has its fair share of parkour. Black Flag, released in 2013, is set in 1715 during the age of colonization. In this open-world game, players must take on outlaw pirates, plunder hidden underwater shipwrecks, and jump over landscapes and ships.

cluster truck

Clustertruck might sound different, but the name of this title is more than just a nice play on words. Released in 2016, Clusteruck is a truckformer game in which players must dodge and weave through tracks to progress in the game. This indie title makes the gameplay quite challenging thanks to all the different objects and distractions thrown in the user’s way. If you’re on a budget and don’t want to spend too much on a new game, this one might be worth a look.

titan fall 2

Released by Electronic Arts in 2016, Titanfall 2 is a first-person shooter title that features a single-player campaign and multiplayer action. The game requires not only patience and good execution, but also quick triggering as players can jump and climb ramps and ledges in this futuristic landscape. And since this title is from EA, players can get into Titanfall 2 for free when they purchase a subscription to EA Play.

Assassin’s Creed Unity

The third Assassin’s Creed game on this list, Assassin’s Creed Unity is set at the height of the French Revolution. While this game isn’t necessarily centered around characters like Robespierre (although he’s in the game) or Napoleon Bonaparte, players can play as Arno in this single-player (or co-op) experience. In Unity, players must bounce off structures and soar through the air of France as they search for the true secrets of the forces in control during the French Revolution. Assassin’s Creed games are known for their parkour, and Unity is no exception.

NARAKA: BLADE POINT

Released in 2021, NARAKA: BLADEPOINT combines parkour action with martial arts and a competitive PvP experience. Promising a “reimagined” experience with BLADEPOINT, developer 24 Entertainment offered “a first of its kind” title that blends motion-based action with a mythical multiplayer combat experience. NARAKA: BLADEPOINT received high marks from both the media and Steam players, with the latter calling it one of the top rated parkour games out there.

Human: Fall flat

Human: Fall Flat, one of the top rated parkour games on Steam, may not have the big publisher (Human: Fall Flats publisher is Curve Digital) nor the crazy 3D graphics, but this title should be quite a bit of fun, especially for those who who love games like Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout. Human: Fall Flat, which launched in 2016, is a “fun, light-hearted platformer” set on floating landscapes (yes, you read that right). Up to eight players can join the madness, and users can play golf, platform jump and bungee in wild obstacle courses, and more.

Ultimate chicken horse

In Ultimate Chicken Horse we’ll move from one cartoon-style game to another. Ultimate Chicken Horse developed and published by Clever Endeavor Games is very similar to Human: Fall Flat in that it is a party platformer. Players can build levels as they go as traps can be set up and if you finish the level while the opponent doesn’t you will get points as a reward. Ultimate Chicken Horse can be played either locally or online, but make sure to watch out for walls when jumping.

Cybershock: Parkour of the future

One of the newer games on this list, Cybershock: Future Parkour, was released just last July. In this runner title, players have to run through virtual tracks and the goal is to kill all computer viruses on the level before the viruses destroy you. Cybershock: Future Parkour may be an indie title, but its fast-paced action and reasonable price put this title on our list.

dying light

We end this list with a classic in Dying Light. Dying Light 2 might be your thing if you’ve already played the first installment in the series, but if you haven’t, the first one should be a goal. Techland’s hit game challenges users to use quick stick skills and quick reflexes to teeter and weave through the open environment and survive in an open-world city where a virus is infecting residents and trapping them in turned zombies. Players not only have to get creative with attacks, but also use parkour to move through the many parts of the city. It’s difficult to find a parkour game on Steam that has a higher user rating, making it an ideal choice to round out our selection.
