1 person displaced by early morning house fire in North Reading – Boston News, Weather, Sports

NORTH READING, MASS. (WHD) – One person was displaced due to a house fire early in the morning in North Reading on Sunday.

Firefighters responding to a reported fire at a two-and-a-half-story home on Park Street shortly after 8 a.m. discovered large flames coming from the building, according to North Fire officials. Reading.

Fire officials said one person was inside at the time of the fire and was able to reach safety before firefighters arrived. No injuries have been reported.

According to North Reading fire officials, the home is currently uninhabitable due to smoke and water damage. The residents of the house are currently being helped by family and friends.

The origin and cause of the fire is still under investigation.
